About Furry Critters

    Who are we and what do we do!

The Furry Critters Rescue and Rehab is a private organization. the vast

majority of our funding comes from the generosity of the general public.

We think of  ourselves first and foremost as an Adoption Agency.  Furry Critters

takes in stray, abandoned or owner surrendered animals.

Our goal is to care for them as humanely as possible until we can reunite them with

their owners or until someone chooses to adopt  them.

Our adoption process is very thorough in an effort to ensure that our animals are

given a loving home for life.

    Second Chances    Furry Critters does not have a "time limit" on how long an

animal may stay with us. In many cases healthy, well adjusted  animals stay until a home is

found for them. In addition, we take them to veterinarians and following through on their care.

    Fighting Animal Overpopulation    All animals adopted from Furry Critters

Rescue and Rehab are spayed or neutered either before or at 5 to 6 months. Spays and Neuters

are included in the Adoption Fee.

Special Love and Special People

Working or volunteering with rescue animals is never easy and often heartbreaking.  Still,

volunteers persevere.  They find strength and satisfaction in playing with a dog no one ever

played with or finding a home for a lonely cat no one wanted.  That is what makes the
